Overview

Part of the MODULA series, Phaser produces a smooth and rich stereo phasing effect inspired by the classic sounds of the 1970s. It adds fluid spectral movement, depth, and animation to guitars, keyboards, synthesizers and vocals. Unlike flanging, which is based on a modulated delay, phasing creates a series of moving notches by combining the input signal with phase-shifted copies of itself. The result is typically softer and less metallic than a flanger, ranging from subtle tonal motion to wide, pronounced stereo sweeps.
